BOARD OF TRUSTEES

BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Oak Grove’s non-profit structure requires a Board of Trustees (BOT), a group of volunteers responsible for setting strategic direction and ensuring that the organization has the necessary resources to achieve its goals. The board is also responsible for ensuring that the organization operates within legal and ethical guidelines.  Trustees meet monthly to work as a group, and also work in committees. You can read our bylaws here.

Strategic initiatives for the 2024-25 school year include

  • Integrate new leadership into the school community

At Oak Grove, community collaboration and the spirit of volunteerism are essential to creating a nurturing and enriching school environment. Our community members bring diverse skills, fresh perspectives, and a shared commitment to our Montessori values. Your involvement enhances our offerings, strengthens ties, and inspires our children to embrace the importance of giving back and working together. We encourage you to join us in making a difference. If you’re interested in contributing, we’d love to hear from you! Please take a moment to fill out the volunteer form.

If you are interested in joining the Board of Trustees, we invite you to apply, or contact CoT@ogms.com to find out more about this opportunity. New trustees are elected in late spring each year. Applications may be submitted at any time; however, priority consideration for the coming school year will be given to applications submitted by February 1st.
